Recreation:

No matter the season there is always something to do in Grand County. We are known worldwide for our wide array of recreational opportunities.  There is truly something for everyone!

The winter season brings skiing of all kinds.  Take your pick from alpine to nordic or try an adventure in our beautiful Colorado back country. There is snowboarding, snow shoeing and even snow biking!  Need more choices?  You can snowmobile, ice fish, ice skate or take on the tubing hills.  If you prefer indoor activities there is always a cozy fire and a glass of wine waiting, or try out one of the many relaxing spas.

Summer means you will never be bored. There is biking, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, fishing, fantastic music concerts, arts and crafts fairs, and world-class theater at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater in Grand Lake!
