Community Involvement
SCHOLARSHIPS: Each year GCBOR gives out scholarships to both East and West Grand High School Seniors. We are very fortunate that Craig Baker with Mountain Homes Publishing sells ads in the Grand County Real Guide and donates the money towards the GCBOR scholarship fund.
ROPES: GCBOR sponsors the East Grand Middle School 8th Grade ROPES luncheon. We provide pizza, soda and graduation cake to the 8th grade class in celebration of their completion of the end of the year ROPE (rite of passage experience) presentations.
MOUNTAIN FAMILY CENTER: GCBOR does many things to help the Mountain Family Center. We have held backpack drives for the center to give to children at the beginning of school. We have held food drives to help stock the shelves for those in need, and we have decorated a christmas tree to auction off to raise money for the center.
